Follow this hour-by-hour 2 days in Paris itinerary for an authentic trip you won’t forget!

Ahh, the city of love.
I’ve visited Paris three times; once with my family, then with my ex from Paris, then to visit my two friends there.
This third time, I think I really got to experience Paris like a twenty-something would. I earned my wanderlust back and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Trip planning is so easy to avoid…
Just follow this 2 days in Paris itinerary to the tee — and I promise, you don’t be disappointed.

Day 1: Canal + Notre Dame + 11th
MORNING
7am: π Run by the Canal

Running while traveling always makes me feel more like a local. Like I belong.
If running ain’t your thing — of course, this step can be skipped (or replaced with a walk).
If your first day lands on a Wednesday, run with KIIN! It’s an English-speaking international run club.
My two friends who live in Paris run with them. They do run a bit faster so FYI.
The run ends at Le Peloton Cafe, so if you lag you can always meet ’em there.
8:30am: πΈ Visit Notre Dame

The lines are pretty much non-existent if you go close to opening.
The Notre Dame is majestic. But to be very honest, you won’t need to budget so much time.
I would suggest alloting about an hour or so.
11am: π₯§ Pastries at Utopie

When I visited Paris with my French ex, I remember he said, eat anywhere really it will be good.
That seems to be the general attitude…
But, as per my Paris friend’s suggestion, I hit up a pain au chocolat and espresso (in my broken french).
Did it hit so hard cuz it was post-run? I don’t think so. It was just that satisfying.
100% recommend!
11:15am: βοΈ Coffee at TerrahΒ
This spot is honestly perfect for working-from-home, as I saw several locals were.

It’s light-filled and oh-so picturesque!
I wish my apartment looked like this lolol fr
AFTERNOON
12pm: π’ Wander Rue Oberkampf
1:30pm: π‘ Shop at Le Marais
The way SoHo (and now Williamsburg LOL) have all the bougee boutiques of the top brands that can afford it, the Marais does, too.

Though most of the stuff was out of my price point… I feel it was worth the stroll.
4pm: π΅ Coffee stop at Araku Coffee
This is where the trendy kids are hanging out.
Loved people watching from the outdoor benches here. Indoors, I saw some work-from-homers and some students.

EVENING
5:30pm: ππ»ββοΈ Freshen up back at hotel
Which in my case, was a Kindred.

My Paris friend got both me and our other Paris friend Qiqi on the app too.
Basically, it’s a house swapping app. You earn credits when you let your home, which you can then use to book other members’ homes (you don’t need to directly swap if that makes sense).
My Paris Kindred was the first one I’ve ever stayed in. You pay, but less than a typical Airbnb (and you don’t make money by being on the platform).

Since the apartments are cleaned before and after your stay, everything was super legit.
The apartment was decorated SO beautifully.. wish this was my spot.
7pm: π΄ French-Japanese at Cellar
Wow, I couldn’t help but moan out loud at every dish I tried.
It was my first time trying French Japanese fusion!

Don’t forget to head downstairs to their namesake Cellar.
Cellar was the recommendation for my Kindred host. According to my host, apparently the resto is run by a chef husband and waitress wife team.
There’s chess boards downstairs because the owner wife is a chess grandmaster! How cool!
9pm: π· Wine + bites at Les Oeillets
This place was a recc by a friend-of-friend who’s been living in Paris for 4 years.

As I walked toward it, I heard a lively chatter, and hoped it was this place.
It was.
My friend-of-friend recommended it for the bites, which are on rotation.
That night, it was a chef popup, and I loved all of it. Of course, as was all throughout Paris.. the wine was– whew I miss it.
Day 2: Montmartre + 9th
MORNING
10am: π₯ Coffee at The Beans on Fire
I worked-from-home at this ultra charming cafe with my Paris friend.

There’s a cute downstairs and gosh is it a viiiibe.
11:30am: π’ Walk around Montmatre

1pm: π΄ Lunch at Les Puces Des Batignolles
I met up with my Paris friend and her friend and grabbed the lunch set here.

Lunch sets are pretty common and are a great way to experience a restaurant’s dishes without paying the full dinner price.
They usually consist of a starter, main and a dessert.
AFTERNOON
2:30pm: π§₯ Shop on Rue des Martyrs
This street was definitely one of my top favorites in Paris!
It was hard not to open my wallet at the cute boutiques on this uphill rue.
4:30pm: βοΈ Stop by for a sweet + coffee at KB Coffee Roasters
People were stylish and unlike where I was staying in the 11th, I saw more generations — from babies to retirees.

So, of course. I had to people watch… hard.
My Paris friend Lauren’s suggestions don’t disappoint. I treated myself to a lemonade and a carrot cake and was not disappointed.
Can’t wait to come back xx
6:30pm: π· Wine + bites at Classique

Spy on the youngins here. The twenty-somethings — the chatty groups of friends, the is-it-a-date-or-not (?) situations, the off-work girlies.
The bites were on point, as was the orange wine. loooove. Will definitely be back my next trip to Paris.
