Here’s exactly (hour-by-hour) how to spend an incredible 2 days in Lisbon!

Lisbon felt so relaxing, romantic and full of culture.
I had an amazing trip with my two friends (and can’t wait to go back!).
Here’s my honest take on how to spend an amazing 2 days in Lisbon!
2 days in Lisbon
Day 1: 👯♀️ Eduardo VII Park, Shopping + Waterfront
10am: ☕️ Coffee at Oficina do Duque
First, grab a coffee — honestly anywhere with outdoor seating near your stay!

11am: 📸 Walk up to Eduardo VII Park
It’s a pretty steep trek up to Eduardo VII Park, but it makes it so worth it to see the stunning views!

(Uber/Bolt costs are relatively affordable, so don’t shy away from that either!)
12pm: 🌮 Casual lunch @ Coyo Taco
These tacos were incredible!

1:30pm: 🛍️ Shop @Principe Real
Right near the taco place, there’s tons of cute boutiques.

We loved Shon Mott, who is a Barcelona designer.
2:30pm: 👟 Stroll Barrio Alto
We love the cobblestone floors!

Speaking of which! Make sure to pack shoes with a decent grip, as many of the cobblestones are super worn down and slippery.
7pm: 🍝 Dinner at Leonetta
The pasta was so delicious at this Italian restaurant.

The vibes were candlelit and super romantic, though we saw plenty of families and duos/groups of friends too.
9pm: 🌙 Walk around Praça do Comércio
This waterfront plaza is also gorgeous during the day.

But it’s a wonderful feeling the soft breeze flowing over the Tagus River at night.
Day 2: 🏝️ Belem + Beach
10am: 💒 Belem Day Trip
Walk around Jerónimos Monastery
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a Late Gothic architectural masterpiece with Vasco da Gama’s tomb.

Even with tickets in advance, the line to see the Jerónimos Monastery was super long.
I personally found it incredible just to view the monastery from the outside.
But if you’re keen to see it properly, I’d go in the afternoon as it’s actually much less busy.
You can buy tickets online in advance (which is basically a must), and you’ll be able to see the real-time capacity.
10:30am: 🐣 Get a Pastéis de Belém

This was the best egg tart I’ve had in Portugal!
11am: 🌴 Walk around the Tropical Botanical Garden

Just around the corner is this ticketed garden (5 euros for entry, which we purchased at the door).
It was quiet and full of tall palm trees and multiple beautiful peacocks.
It’s a great place to rest for a second in a serene environment.
1pm: 🍴 Lunch at Tapisco
Back closer to the city center!

Michelin Chef Henrique whips up fresh, delicious dishes using the best ingredients from Portugal and Spain.
3pm: 🍒 Cherry Liquor in a Chocolate Cup @ Ginginha do Carmo
Two mini shots of sour cherry liquor, or ginginha, in a chocolate cup is only 1.95 euros!

5pm: 👢Walk around Chiado

This commercial neighborhood definitely had a lot of tourist attractions. But it also has plenty of restaurants and bars.
It has a lovely, lively vibe at night — full of typical bright city lights.
7pm: 🏝️ Sunset at Praia da Aldraga
Grab a bite and head to this beach!

It’s a very local scene — where friends come to kick back after work on a week day, and also where families take photos in the lovely scenery.
